La Petite Hair Salon

This is a salon that cares about their clients! I was a walk in the day I came to La Petite, and she was already busy with a client. He was 12 and she had his favorite band playing on the sound system in the salon. Our hairstylist was a lady who truly cares, when she cut my sons hair, she kept giving him items to occupy him, keep him entertained, and when she was done, she offered a 3 day “try it out” period. She made the whole experience amazing for him and we are happy to say we’ll be returning customers! Love this place!

Very good haircut for an excellent price. You rarely have to wait longer than 10 minutes, the staff is super friendly and it is always nice to chat with them. And most importantly, they know how to cut hair. It is nothing face though and you cannot compare it to a Vidal Sassoon salon but you also only pay a fraction of what you'd elsewhere. All in all a great salon and I go there regularly for more than 2 years now.

Amazing experience! They were very skilled and communicated super well, checking in to see how I felt about the haircut throughout the whole process. This was one of the first times I ended up with a haircut so close to my original vision for it. Also amazing prices! Would highly recommend!

I've been getting my haircut at La Petit since i moved to the Bay, i can only say good things about the the staff---all of which are fantastic. Not only do they cut my hair perfectly, but they are super warm and friendly. If you need a good cut in East Bay, visit La Petit!

Ive been coming to Le Petite for about 4 years now and they have always gone above and beyond. All the stylists are warm and friendly which has had me visiting since undergrad.

Despite the modestly small appearance, this shop houses 2 excellent stylists that are more than capable of their craft. Lan & Phung have been here for a long time (thankfully), and continue to provide quality cuts & service for an affordable price, even through the latter portion of the pandemic. It's always a joy to talk with them, and get their input on what works best with your head or style if you ask. As a drabinista, I can confirm that their treatments have greatly improved my social outcome. Notes: - Call to make an appt always! Walk-ins may be possible, but don't be surprised if they tell you that there isn't any same-day availability after making the trek there. - Cash is a cheaper cut than if you pay by card. - If you're running late (like I always do...sorry Phung!), park in front of their shop where it says 20 min only. I've never had any issues there. - Expect to be there for approx 30-45 min, maybe more if they run behind a bit. Has rarely happened for me, but I tend to go earlier in the morning/afternoon.
